At French Broad Chocolates we specialize in hand-crafted artisanal chocolate truffles that fuse exotic and natural ingredients with original chocolate recipes. We make our chocolate truffles daily in small batches to ensure each and every chocolate is fresh and ready to melt in your mouth. Each one of French Broad Chocolates’ chocolate truffles contains a unique flavor that sets it apart from not only our other chocolates but the rest of the chocolate truffle market. At French Broad Chocolates we strive to create a wholly new gourmet experience with each different flavor of our delicious chocolate truffles.

We have many unique and delicious chocolate truffles in the French Broad Chocolate lineup including:

Masala Chai  – “Eastern” inspired chocolate truffles that wrap classic Indian spices with Darjeeling tea inside a milk chocolate coating.

Strawberry Balsamic  – One of our most popular chocolate truffles, combining local-grown strawberries with coconut cream and balsamic vinegar encapsulated in cacao nibs.

Vanilla Bourbon – Two contrasting flavors that get along great after some coaxing from Knob Creek small batch Kentucky bourbon.

Lavender and Honey  – Smooth Peruvian dark chocolate truffles incorporating floral notes cultivated from local lavender and local wildflower honey.

We make each small batch of our chocolate truffles daily using original recipes we developed ourselves from the ground up. By winnowing, roasting, and grinding  the beans we bought ourselves straight from sources in Central and South America, we learned the intimate ins and outs of making high quality chocolate truffles. From infusing the perfectly flavored ganache to pairing it with just the right flavor notes for the chocolate coverture, every part of the truffle (even its distinguishing topping) has undergone careful consideration to become a well-balanced, super-flavorful delicacy.

The base of operations for French Broad Chocolates is in Asheville, NC, a town famous for high quality, socially conscious (including vegan-friendly) edibles. Which means, that’s right, we also make vegan-friendly chocolate truffles so no one gets left out of the deliciousness at the party, wedding, open house, or corporate event. All of our chocolate truffles are made from high quality ingredients. Certified organic and locally sourced ingredients are used whenever possible.
