The purpose of the Customer Care and Accounts Specialist is to provide the highest level of service and support to customers in response to inquiries regarding products and services as well as to resolve complaints and to capture and coordinate orders from online customers as well as wholesale accounts. 

Responsibilities

Wholesale Accounts
Prepare and monitor annual sales plan.
Initiate contact with potential accounts.
Identify customer needs and sell appropriate products.
Provide new and current clients with up-to-date product information
Maintain close, professional relationships with customers
Collaborate with other departments to ensure successful customer experiences, such as production, marketing, and website development. 
Monthly email correspondence with product availability.
Obtain relevant information and set up accounts in Quickbooks
Create invoices and receive payment, following up as necessary.
Account maintenance: check in with wholesale clients
Participation and execution of special projects as needed.
Education
Commitment to continuous learning
Mastery level product knowledge.
offsite company representation at trade shows, sampling events, etc.
Act as point of contact for breweries, liaise with chocolate makers

Internet Customers

Manage support email and respond to customer inquiries in a timely fashion.
Answer phones and promptly respond to voicemails daily.
Update order information as requested (gift notes, shipping addresses, etc.).
Manage inventory quantities available in website database.
Communicate with marketing department about upcoming new products, promotions, etc.
Coordinate with shipping/receiving department to ensure timely and accurate delivery of internet orders.
Mastery level product knowledge.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Basic knowledge of Quickbooks
Able to communicate effectively (written and verbal) across multiple departments.
2+ years professional experience in customer service
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
Creative thinking and problem solving
Accuracy and strong attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Open-minded thrives in an environment of change


Working conditions

Position may require evenings and weekends as necessary. The position is not eligible for work at home unless approved on a case-by-case basis.


Physical requirements
May require lifting of up to 50 lbs. The job is likely to be a mix of sedentary and active time. Requires walking, standing and/or driving for up to 75% of the workday.
