Giveaway! | Cider and Pumpkins and Pears Oh My! The Fall Collection is Here!
The days are getting shorter and the air is getting crisper. We welcome the metamorphosis with open arms, taking our time to express gratitude for family, friends, the beauty of our mountain home and the bounty of our local foodshed.
We created The Fall Collection in homage to this glorious season, from the Cider Caramel to the Pumpkin + Spice Truffle, each confection is handcrafted with our bean-to-bar chocolate and features ingredients thoughtfully sourced for their integrity, many from our local farmers like Flying Cloud Farm (pumpkins), McConnell Farms (cider), and Barkslip Farm (pears).
One of our favorite parts of our work is sharing the chocolate we make with our friends all over the world. We're so excited about the Fall Collection that we've decided to send a 12 Piece Box to one of our friends.

Fall is my favorite season! I love the cooler temperatures, savoring a cup of rich and creamy hot chocolate, but mostly the beautiful colors of fall that God gives us for our enjoyment!

My first wedding anniversary is this October! I love everything about Fall (which is why I got married in October!) the cool air, the warm fuzzy sweaters, the beauty of the leaves, making pumpkin pie with my grandmother, pumpkin beer, making s’mores over a campfire, and breaking out the crock pot for some homemade chili and corn bread (I think it’s obvious that I like food!) all come to mind when I think about Fall. But my most favorite thing is the yearly trip my (now) husband and I take to Asheville. We got engaged in Asheville, at Cúrate, before stopping by The Chocolate Lounge for crème brûlée and hot chocolate, on one of those yearly trips. We had our honeymoon there. Fall is my favorite time to go. I love visiting. From all the amazing art to the food and beer (and chocolate!), Asheville is my favorite place. Asheville is my favorite thing about Fall.
What’s not to love about Fall? Crisp air, colors exploding, the typical sweater. Up here in Michigan our Fall season is beautiful but does not last nearly as long as the visual display found in western North Carolina. After living here for 30 years I still long for a Carolina Fall. Add some French Broad Chocolates and the season is complete.
